How Composting Toilets work:

     The BioLet composting toilet is a patented biological waste treatment system that evaporates excessive moisture and decomposes human waste with the help of nature�s own microorganisms. Warm air constantly circulates inside the composting chambers of the BioLet until saturated and is then exhausted through the ventilation system. The compost is periodically mixed by two blades in order to provide extra aeration for faster decomposing. The compost of human waste and paper forms neatly in a tray that only has to be emptied once a year!

     The combination of an efficient and quiet fan with a thermostat controlled heating element guarantees an energy efficient and complete composting process; the patented and award winning air recirculation system results in a very low energy cost.
