Steri-Pen Portable Water Purifier

The Steri-Pen is a small and highly sophisticated battery-powered, water purification system. It is designed to treat up to 16oz, of clear water at a time. To operate, Steri-Pen is activated with a simple button sequence. After less than a minute of gentle stirring the treated water is disinfected and ready to drink.

• Fast: Sixteen oz. of clear water can be disinfected in less than a minute.
• Effective: University testing has shown Steri-Pen to be an extremely effective anti-microbial water treatment device. Steri-Pen has been shown to be highly effective against bacteria, viruses and protozoa.
• Pocket-sized: With a weight of less than 8oz. with batteries and a length of 7 inches, Steri-Pen easily fits into a coat pocket, pocketbook or briefcase.
• Convenient: Steri-Pen can easily be used in places where other forms of treatment (i.e.. chemicals, filters, or boiling) would be difficult. Use Steri-Pen in restaurants, hotel rooms or out in the field.
• Proven: Ultraviolet light has been a standard method of water purification for well over 50 years. Municipal water treatment facilities, water bottling plants and hospitals have long used ultraviolet light.
• No chemicals: Steri-Pen adds no chemicals to the water. Ultraviolet light provides disinfection without the use of toxic chemicals such as chlorine and iodine.
• Uses common battery: Steri-Pen uses 4 disposable or externally rechargeable AA batteries.. These batteries can be found virtually anywhere in the world. Alkaline batteries provide 20 to 40 treatments, NiMH rechargeable batteries provide 60 to 70 treatments and Lithium batteries provide 130 to 140 treatments.
• Safe: Steri-Pen has a built in child safety code and liquid sensors designed to prevent improper operation. When operated according to instructions, exposure to germicidal ultraviolet light is virtually nil.
• Warranted: for one year.
