The EcoSphere is a closed ecological system, where plant and animal life are permanently sealed in handblown glass.  Only light is able to penetrate so there is no food or water that has to be added.  Everything is recycled in this self-sustaining ecosystem.  It contains bright red shrimp, filtered sea water, algae, air, gravel, gorgonian, and microorganisms that are mutually sustaining.  Developed by NASA, it is both environmentally educational and aesthetically pleasing.  Care for your EcoSphere is simple, requiring only indirect natural or artificial light with a temperature range of 60� to 85�F.   This miniature ecosystem elegantly functions as both a form of art, and an educational unit which can be displayed in corporate offices, the home, or educational facilities.

Terms:  If all the shrimp should die within the policy period, you may return the EcoSphere, pay the shipping fee and we will replace the EcoSphere with a brand new one. The Small Sphere and Small Pod have a 6 month Replacement Policy. All larger EcoSpheres have a 12-month Replacement Policy. This Policy requires the customer to pay all shipping charges. $24 for small, $29 for medium, $34 for large, and $40 for Extra Large.
