Undercounter Water Filter - Three Stage

In addition to producing high-quality, clear, fresh drinking water, our new ceramic filters offer extra protection. By using an advanced cleanable ceramic / carbon filtration media they remove 99.99% of turbidity, 97% of chlorine, 98% of lead, 99.99% of cysts including giardia and cryptosporidium, and tastes and odors.

The shell of the filter is ceramic. The shell of the housing is plastic. Before going through the filter, the water may touch the plastic housing. After leaving the filter, the water does travel through an NSF approved plastic tube before reaching the faucet.

The Undercounter Water Filter Kit includes the basic unit with  3/8 inch  push-fit connectors, detailed instructions, hardware, mounting brackets and countertop faucet for installation to replace your sink's sprayer.

The Undercounter Water Filter Housing is the basic unit only. It comes only with the 3/8 inch push-fit connectors.

 Certified to NSF standards 42 and 53 for cyst, turbidity, lead, structural integrity, toxicological extraction, chlorine and taste and odor reduction. May be cleaned up to 50 times to recover flow. Filters should be replaced annually, sufficient for a family of 4 for a year. Measures 12 3/4" H x 4 3/4" W.

Note: There is not sufficient waterflow to tie in directly to the cold water line.

The Ceramic Filter:

• The Manufacturer has been making ceramic filtration for over 150 years
• Materials- the outer layer is made of ceramic porcelain.  The interior of the filter contains a carbon block and ATC media. The outer housing is made of plastic.
• Performance factors- the filter removes chlorine, herbicides, pesticides, heavy metals including lead, aluminum, iron, giardia, cryptosporidium, e-coli and sediment. 
• Installation- no tools are necessary; place washer on threaded stem of filter.  Place stem of filter through hole inside upper unit. Hand-tighten with wingnut.
• Flow rate: 1/2 gallon per hour per filter
• Water sources: tap, well, river, lake, stream and swimming pool can be used. Not for use with salt water.
• One year unconditional warranty on the ceramic filter from date of purchase with warranty card validation.
