Description:

The WaterRing was designed to be placed in the ground around a new or young tree or shrub. Since it is in the ground, it begins dispersing 4" below the surface, slowly and evenly to the root system, typically over a 2-4 hour period, thus allowing the root system to more fully absorb the water. You can fertilize with the WaterRing and the nutrients go directly to the root system with no evaporation or run-off.

Typically, the WaterRing needs to be filled just every other week for a tree to thrive, not just survive. Even people with sprinkler or irrigation systems are losing trees as those systems normally only reach a depth of 3" or 4", resulting in shallow roots that stress easily. The WaterRing begins where those end and goes down and out from there. The WaterRing results in healthier, faster growing trees with deeper root systems. When used as directed, the WaterRing cuts back dramatically on the normally high attrition rate of newly planted trees. By using a simple adapter, you can hook the WaterRing up to an irrigation system and it will fill while the grass is being watered and will then water slowly and deeply, the way a tree needs to be watered.

This unique patent-pending device is sturdy and simple to use. It not only saves you time, water and money, but most importantly, the trees! Depending upon soil, rain, and seasonal conditions, the WaterRing should be filled once every two weeks, and left on a new planting for at least two years. The WaterRing is made in the US from UV-resistant plastic, so it will not break down in the sunlight.

The WaterRing in Irrigation Settings

Drill a 9/64" hole in the dimple at the base of the fill spout. Insert a 1/4" spaghetti hose coupling at this point and attach a 1/4" spaghetti hose or a 1/4" drip hose from here to a 1/2" vinyl line. Hook up as many of these in sequence as you like from an active water supply or water truck. A water truck or tank can be parked at the highest point and hooked up to the line with pump or natural gravity flow. Note:  Each case contains 7 (seven) WaterRings.
